That Yak Sock blends 20% Yak fibers with 70% Superwash Merino and 10% Nylon. That Yak Sock is not a white or ecru yarn, as our other undyed yarns are. The dark Yak fiber affects the color of the raw fibers here, and lends depth to the handdyer's art, allowing you to achieve rich tones with Yak. We recommend hand-washing of all knitted garments made with such an exquisite yarn, and laying flat to day.
