BFL Sport-SW rounds out our line of 100% British Bluefaced Yarns. We have not had a sport weight in our British BFL yarn line until the demand began to grow. Our response is a sport weight at 287 yards per 100 gram skein in a nice and round yarn of 4 plies. Sport weight falls between fingering (or 'sock weight') and DK. It is perfect for knitting up scarves and hats, tops and fine sweaters, and baby clothes. Sport, in fact, is often used in commercial patterns for baby clothes. Combine the nice weight with the strength of the British BFL, add in the innate sheen of the BFL fiber and we have a winner.
